The Arkansas Bar Association and the Administrative Office of the Courts proudly announce the launch of “Legal Luminaries—Lighting the Path,” a new series celebrating the legacy and leadership of Arkansas Legal Hall of Fame honorees. The series spotlights the lawyers and groups whose dedication, integrity, and service continue to shape the legal profession and uplift communities across the state.

The inaugural event will feature David Blair, a 2024 Hall of Fame inductee and co-founder of Blair & Stroud Law Firm in Batesville. Known for his steadfast professionalism, mentorship of young attorneys, and embodiment of the “Southern gentleman lawyer,” Blair exemplifies excellence in the practice of law. Through this conversation, he reflects on the lessons, values, and experiences that have guided his distinguished career and continue to inspire generations of Arkansas lawyers.

The event will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Arkansas Civics Education Center, located on the ground floor of the Justice Building southwest of the Capitol. The center features interactive exhibits that explore the three branches of government and invites visitors to “Sign the Constitution,” pledging civility and commitment to justice. Attendees may also view the Legal Hall of Fame kiosk, honoring all inductees.

The Arkansas Legal Hall of Fame stands as a testament to the values of civility, unity, and service within the legal profession, and to the enduring importance of the judicial process in Arkansas’s history.

Join us as we honor those who light the path for generations of Arkansas lawyers to come.

A reception will begin at 5:30 pm in the Arkansas Civics Education Center located inside the Justice Building. The series will begin at 6:00 pm with a question and answer session concluding the event. Guests may park in any lot on Marshall Street in front of the Justice Building.
