ArkBar President Margaret Dobson was sworn in as Circuit Judge for the Seventh Judicial District serving Grant and Hot Spring counties on May 6, 2024. Arkansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Dan Kemp administered the oath to Judge Dobson at the Grant County Courthouse with her family and ArkBar leaders in attendance. Congratulations Judge Dobson! This is the first for an Arkansas Bar Association president to be sworn in as judge during her term as president, as well as the first woman judge as president and the first woman serving as circuit judge in the Seventh Judicial District.
