Important Notes for 2026–2027

Federal law requires that the portion of dues used for lobbying is non-deductible as a business expense. For the 2026–2027 bar year, 4.7% of dues are used for lobbying and are non-deductible.

Dues paid under the Government/Public Sector Employee and Judge categories are not used for lobbying purposes.

If you prefer a non-lobbying dues option for other categories or need assistance, please contact Cynthia Barnes or call 501-801-5672.

All dues and subscriptions are nonrefundable. Contributions to the Arkansas Bar Association are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.

Payments to the Arkansas Bar Association are for voluntary membership and are separate from state licensing fees.
