The Association does not currently have a policy or procedure to systematically review its programs to ensure that they remain relevant to members and are an effective use of our limited resources.
I strongly believe that it is in the best interest of the Association to have such a policy of periodic and systematic review.
Regular and systematic review will enable the Association to make timely changes to its programs so that they remain relevant to members and will ensure that the Association uses its limited resources efficiently, effectively, and in ways that provide the greatest benefit for our members.
Last fall, I appointed a Program Review Task Force, chaired by Aaron Squyres, to draft a policy of program review for adoption by the Board of Trustees.
The recommendation of the task force can be viewed and downloaded here.
I will ask the Board of Trustees to adopt the policy at its March 31st board meeting in Jonesboro.
Prior to that time, I want to give all members an opportunity to review the proposal, ask questions, and voice any concerns.
I will host a Zoom town hall meeting on March 16, 2023, at 12:00 noon to discuss the proposal. The meeting will be open to all members of the Association.
