Technology has changed how attorney-client relationships have changed – and created many ethical traps for lawyers. Not all relationships are established with face-to-face meetings and the exchange of a signed engagement letter. The relationship may be established in phone calls and email, or inadvertently through a law firm’s web site. This program will cover how attorney-client relationships are established – whether intentionally or not – in a digital age.
