The U.S District Court Eastern District of Arkansas entered Administrative Order Number 9 on December 18, 2020.
On November 29, 2020, U.S. District Court Western District of Arkansas issued Administrative Order No. 2020-15 extending for 90 days provisions under the CARES Act authorizing the use of video and/or telephone conferencing for specific types of proceedings.
On November 20, 2020, the Arkansas Supreme Court issued a per curiam suspending jury trials until January 15, 2021.

Administrative Order Three - Court Operations During The Covid-19 Pandemic
The Court has entered another Administrative Order about operations during the COVID-19 Pandemic. If the defendant consents, the Court has authorized expanded use of video teleconferencing, and telephone conferencing if video conferencing is unavailable, in preliminary criminal proceedings, including felony pleas and felony sentencings.
