  • Brian M. Rosenthal of Little Rock is the new President-Elect Designee of the Arkansas Bar Associatio

    Brian M. Rosenthal of Little Rock is the new President-Elect Designee of the Arkansas Bar Association. He was elected without opposition at the close of nominations on October 31, 2017.
    Brian is an attorney with the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock. He serves as counsel in commercial transactions, refinancings, real estate and environmental  matters.

    Brian has been an active member of the Arkansas Bar Association for more than 28 years and has served in numerous leadership roles. Brian has served as chair of the Board of Governors, the Long Range Planning Committee, the Editorial Board for Handbooks, Arkansas Professional Practicum, Membership Development Committee and as chair of the 2006 Annual Meeting. He is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Member Benefits Committee (along with his partner David Mitchell) and is serving on the 20/20 Commission.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. The Association has honored Brian with four Golden Gavel Awards, a Presidential Award of Excellence and the Charles L. Carpenter Award.  Brian is a Fellow of the Arkansas Bar Foundation. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (accounting) from the University of Arkansas and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri. 

    Brian expresses his excitement to serve and his gratitude to all bar members and seeks input from every lawyer on how he can serve for the good and benefit of all.  He will serve a one-year term as President-Elect beginning in June 2018 before assuming the office of President at the Association's 2019 Annual Meeting.
