CLE Course Material Guidelines

CLE Course Material Guidelines

One of the requirements for accreditation is that each speaker provides written course materials.  If a speaker fails to do so, program registrants will not receive credit for that portion of the program.  A mere topical outline without references to cases, statutes or advice from the speaker will not suffice.

  • Course materials are an Arkansas Supreme Court requirement for CLE accreditation.  Speakers are required to provide a topic outline as well as relevant attachments, such as case, statutes, and bibliographies.
  • Course materials are only provided to attendees electronically, so there is no longer a limitation on the number of pages. Remember, attendees are relying on expertise of speakers – please supply them with materials which will be useful when they return to their offices.
  • For your efforts in preparing course material, speakers receive enhanced CLE credit.  A special CLE form will be available for your use at the meeting registration desk.
  • Panelists:  Course materials are not required by each individual panelist.  Course materials can be submitted on behalf of the entire panel.
  • If you will need special facilities or assistance relating to a disability, please contact me prior to the program.
