 Arkansas Bar Association Legislative Timetable

Association members and sections are encouraged to submit proposed legislation to our Jurisprudence and Law Reform Committee for consideration to be in the Association's legislative package for the 2007 Session of the Arkansas Legislature.

Please note that proposed legislation may deal with a minor but still important revision of a statute as well as major revisions of Arkansas law.

A series of deadlines are established for submission of proposed legislation by sections to the Jurisprudence and Law Reform Committee. Legislation proposed by individuals is expected to be submitted to the appropriate section, along with the required accompanying information, in sufficient time for the section to review and submit the proposed legislation and all required information to the Association in time to meet the deadlines.

Members who have questions about this process may contact Jack McNulty, our lobbyist.
